Later start time for Baxter County Quorum Court due to early voting

The Baxter County Quorum Court will meet Tuesday evening at 6:30, rather than 6, due to early voting in the 2nd floor courtroom.

Items on the agenda include:

– an ordinance appropriating fees and reimbursements received in September to the Sheriff’s Department;

– an ordinance levying millage taxes on political subdivisions of Baxter County for the year of 2022 as authorized by public election;

– an ordinance to appropriate funds in the amount of $15,000 from county general fund into the airport 2022 budget;

– an ordinance to appropriate funds in the amount of $39,157 from LATCF fund to the county general fund;

– an ordinance appropriating funds to purchase property;

– an ordinance moving a part time secretary to a full time position in the prosecuting attorney’s office;

– an ordinance approving the funding of two patrol deputy position and moving one part time CID investigator to full time in the sheriff’s department;

– a resolution authorizing the judge to apply for a grant on behalf of the Clarkridge Volunteer Fire Department;

– a resolution confirming the appointment of Joseph Eric Payne by the county judge to the planning board;

– a resolution confirming the reappointment of Will Gregory and Kevin Bodenhamer by the county judge to the Mountain Home Rural Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners;

– a resolution confirming the reappointments of Mike Fusion and John Olson by the county judge to the Buford Volunteer Fire Protection District Board of Commissioners.
