ASUMH faculty to hold book signing

On Wednesday afternoon, two English faculty members, Emily Noblin and Michael Thomas at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home, will hold a book signing for their recent publications from noon until 1 in the Gaston Lobby of Roller Hall.

Noblin teaches English and Communication at ASUMH. She lives with her son, husband, four cats, Pug, and axolotl in the Missouri Ozarks. She graduated with a Master of Arts in creative writing from Missouri State University. Her books include “Sit! Stay! Speak!”; “Just Fine with Caroline”; “Pupcakes”; “The Sisters Hemingway”; “St. Francis Society for Wayward Pets”; “Maps for the Getaway”; and her latest, “Christmas in Blue Dog Valley”.

Thomas teaches Composition and Literature at ASUMH. He was raised in the Richwoods area of Stone County and holds a Master’s Degree in English from the University of Central Arkansas. He and his wife Kellie live in Salem, and have a combined family of five children and six grandchildren. In addition to his recent book of poetry, “Atheists and Empty Spaces”, Thomas has also published “The Purple and Blue Collection of Poems: Volume 1 and II”; “The Mercy Killing, The Death of Poetry” (under the pen name William J. Bragi); “The Joy of Shadows” (also under Bragi); and numerous short stories that are available on his blog.
