This Friday kicks off the biggest fundraising event of the year for the Salvation Army, the Red Kettle Campaign. From 11 until 1 at the Salvation Army Fellowship Hall located at 121 Arkansas Highway 201 North, the Red Kettle Cook-Off will feature eight local restaurants and chefs preparing their signature dishes for the public. Winners will be determined by who’s kettle is filled the most.
Participants include Letty’s Mexican Restaurant, Ozark Mountain BBQ, Ole Mill Tavern, Holy Smokes, Tasty Greens To Go, KPFM – DJ Peace, Bookworms Cafe, and the Baxter County Sheriff’s Department.
Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased at the Salavation Army, KTLO, or at the door the day of the event.
KTLO, Classics and The Boot will broadcast live on-site with the Treasure Chest totaling $650.
