
A Pineville man was arrested October 29 following an extend pursuit by the Arkansas State Police.
According to the Arkansas State Police, 28-year-old Joe Lee Lynn is charged with multiple counts of traffic violations, including failure to stop at a highway intersection, driving with a suspended license, driving left of center, speeding, reckless driving, felony fleeing and DWI.
At approximately 10:27, an Arkansas State Trooper attempted to stop Lynn after he failed to yield for a stop sign at the intersection of Arkansas Highways 177 and 5. The trooper activated the patrol emergency equipment when Lynn failed to comply and fled along Highway 177. The pursuit continued into Izard County where he lost control of his vehicle near Arkansas Highway 223 and Frosty Knap Trail.
Lynn was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center where he is currently being held on $20,000 bond.
