
Three area boil water orders have been lifted and one remains in effect.
A boil water order has been lifted for the SPG Water Association in Searcy and Marion Counties. The affected area included Highway 374 East, North Tomahawk road, Tomahawk Slab and all roads off of Tomahawk Slab. The order was lifted Wednesday afternoon.
A boil water order has been lifted for Melbourne Waterworks in Izard County. The order was lifted Wednesday afternoon for the areas on the east side of College Drive from Main Street to Haley Street to Morrison Street and all customers on Haley Street, Miller Street, Morrison Street, Moser Street, Rebecca Street, Anne Street and Almedia Street.
A boil water remains in effect for the Fish & Fiddle Resort on Lake Norfork east of Mountain Home in Baxter County.
The Arkansas Department of Health issued the boil water order Oct. 26 due to inadequate disinfectant levels.
All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
