
Basketball makes up the local Wednesday schedule and includes Mountain Home’s freshman boys continuing action in the Northwest Arkansas Classic at Fayetteville. The Junior Bombers will meet the host Junior Tigers at 6:45.
On the high school level, the Arvest Bank Tournament continues at Flippin with games on the consolation bracket. In the girls’ games in the old gym, Lead Hill and Alpena tip off at 4, Mountain Home Christian Academy meets Cotter at 5:30, Mountain View faces Jasper at 7, and Ozark Mountain takes on Kingston at 8:30. In the boys’ games in the new gym, Lead Hill and Alpena get underway at 4, Norfork plays Kingston at 5:30, Cotter will be paired with Valley Springs at 7, and Ozark Mountain meets the loser of Tuesday’s game between Yellville-Summit and Cedar Ridge at 8:30.
Marshall’s boys were scheduled to face Dardanelle in the semifinals of the First Service Bank Classic at Clinton. The game has been moved to the Bobcats’ home floor at the Ray Moore Gymnasium with gametime on Wednesday scheduled for 6.
