Basketball makes up the local Monday schedule and includes the last outing before the Thanksgiving holiday for all of Mountain Home’s junior high boys’ teams. They’ll be in Jonesboro for matchups with Nettleton. The seventh grade game tips off at 4:30, and the eighth grade and freshman contests will follow.
Mountain Home’s three junior high girls’ teams were scheduled to play at Batesville, but those games have been canceled.
On the high school level, Holiday Hoopsgiving continues at the Panther Palace in Bergman. In girls’ action, Jasper and Central Arkansas Christian get underway at 4, Calico Rock faces McGehee at 6:20, and Bergman takes on Farmington at 8:40. On the boys’ side, Calico Rock plays Berryville at 5:10, and Bergman will be paired with Farmington at 7:30.
Elsewhere, Norfork makes the trip to Salem, Flippin heads to Lead Hill, Dora’s girls travel to Van Buren, and the Harrison boys make the trip to Vilonia. Cotter’s games at Viola have been canceled.
