Mountain Home ended up with two wins in five junior high basketball games with West Plains on Friday.
Mountain Home had one win in three boys’ games at West Plains.
The Junior Bombers were edged out by the Junior Zizzers 42-39 in the freshman game. Rhett Gilbert led Mountain Home with 14 points. The Junior Bombers fall to 5-7 on the season.
Mountain Home’s lone win at West Plains was in the eighth grade game with a 41-35 decision. The Eighth Grade Bombers were led by Tucker Thompson with 14 points. Mountain Home improves to 6-3 on the year.
The evening began with Mountain Home’s seventh graders losing to West Plains 43-25.
Mountain Home split its two junior high girls’ games with West Plains at home.
The Eighth Grade Lady Bombers had a rough night to wrap up the week. Mountain Home suffered a 28-15 loss to West Plains.
The seventh grade game ended with Mountain Home topping West Plains 47-30. Macy Farris was the Seventh Grade Lady Bombers’ top scorer with 16 points, and Maggie Norcross added 15.
