Many customers in the Twin Lakes area have reported to KTLO natural gas outages, resulting in no heat in their homes.Robin Mizell, Community Affairs Manager for Black Hills Energy states “considering high winds and extensive cold weather across the majority of Black Hills Energy’s natural gas service territory and in response to operational flow orders for pipelines upstream of Arkansas, we implemented a curtailment to our class 1 largest volume customers in Northwest Arkansas to plant production usage for a limited time.”Mizell also stated they are working to discover the extent of the outage now and they had no gas call reports in Mountain Home. Black Hills Energy does not have a number of outages at this time but their operations team is assessing the situation.
