Black Hills Energy says the arctic blast felt across much of the country resulted in very high demand for energy including the Mountain Home system, which resulted in the loss of pressure to affected customers.
They state customers who were not on site when technicians attempted to perform necessary safety checks and restore service should call Black Hills Energy at 888-890-5554 to schedule restoration of service. They state someone over 18 is required to be present during the service restoration process.
Black Hills Energy would like to thank their customers and the City of Mountain Home for their patience and understanding during the natural gas outage restoration process.
