As Barney Larry gets ready to retire from the Baxter Health Foundation, his successor has been named. Current Vice President and Major Gifts Officer Sarah Edwards will take on the role of executive director next week.

Edwards started with the hospital in 2015 and has been with the foundation since 2018. She says the time she spent learning from Larry will help make the transition smoother.

Edwards and her husband, Dylan, are both alums of Mountain Home High School Career Academies. She later earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

After college, Edwards went straight into the business world as she was hired to do marketing work for Sam’s Club. While she is happy to have been back in the Twin Lakes Area for the last seven years, she does value the time she spent in northwest Arkansas.
