MH girls finish 3rd in Conway wrestling tourney

The Mountain Home High School girls’ wrestling team went to Conway to wrap up the week on Friday. The Lady Bombers finished third in the Wampus Cat Invitational.

Amelia Frounfelter improved to 27-0 on the season and picked up her 100th career win after taking the 155-pound division. Kylie Alford won the 110 after upsetting the top-ranked girl in the championship match.

Also for Mountain Home, Mackenzie Clark finished third in the 100, Olivia McCoy was third in the 135, Emalyn Stephens ended up fourth in the 120, Brianna Balsano took fourth place in the 130, and Lillian Wood finished fourth in the heavyweight division.

The Lady Bombers will be back at home on Tuesday for a tri-match with Sylvan Hills and Russellville.
