Heavy snow is on track to impact the Twin lakes area starting this afternoon. A winter storm warning will go in effect from noon today until 6am Wednesday morning.
Meteorologist Willie Gilmore of the National Weather Service in Little Rock say we will start with rain but transition to snow as the day the progresses.
Gilmore warns of hazardous travel conditions as the storm moves through the area.
