Monday evening, a special meeting was held at Dunbar Auditorium by the Mountain Home Public Schools (MHPS) Board of Education to discuss the proposed millage for the high school renovation project.The meeting was open to the public and time was allotted to allow citizens to share their thoughts on the proposal.
KTLO’s Heather Loftis spoke with Melissa Steiner, Media/Library specialist at Hackler Intermediate School, on why she supports the millage.
Bob Weilding, a Mountain Home resident who has reservations with architectural details in the proposal, also shared his thoughts.
The Board did not make a decision Monday night, but stated they will take action at a later date.
