A boil water order has been issued for the Mountain View Waterworks system in Stone County.

According to the Arkansas Department of Health, the order was issued Monday due to a water line break. The order affects the area of Harding Boulevard to Tubbs Court; all of Shadow Lane; Dora Drive; Leonard Drive and Museum Lane.

A boil order is still in effect for the East Newton County Water Association. The order was issued Jan. 30 due to a main break. The advisory affects the area of Norton’s Country Store going north on Highway 123 and ending at the Buffalo River.

All customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use.
