KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot is teaming up with Baxter Health to present the 2023 Health Fair and Expo.
With events open in both Mountain Home and Harrison, there’s something fun – not to mention education – everyone can enjoy while taking steps towards better health.
The 42nd Annual Health Fair and Expo in Mountain Home will be at the Baxter County Fair Grounds April 6 from 7:30 until 6. The 1st Health Fair and Expo in Harrison will be at the Durand Center at Crockett Tower Friday from Noon until 5.
Both events are open to the public and will have various health screenings on-site, educational exhibits and a Teddy Bear Clinic for the kids. While lab testing will not be completed on-site this year, vouchers will be provided so attendees can get their blood sugar cholesterol levels, PSA score and HbA1c tested free of charge from their local Baxter Health Clinic.
Children taking advantage of the Teddy Bear Clinic, bears will be available for fostering or adoption and will run from 3 until 6 in Mountain Home and all day in Harrison.
Baxter Health and other community partners will share services they have to offer and the impact they plan to make in communities for the better.
