
A Marion County woman has been arrested after allegedly kicking over a motorcycle and breaking down the door to a residence.
According to the recently filed probable cause affidavit, on June 2 of last year, deputies responded to a report of possible shots fired at a residence in Oakland. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with the victim who stated 41-year-old Janette Lynn McCracken and her boyfriend attempted to enter the residence through a side door.
The victim said when McCracken was unable to gain entry she kicked over a Harley Davidson motorcycle causing $2,500 worth of damage. McCracken and her boyfriend then allegedly proceeded to kick in the front door of the residence, causing $750 worth of damage to the door and frame.
Once inside the residence McCracken and her boyfriend kicked in a bedroom door, causing another $100 worth of damage.
McCracken faces felony charges of residential burglary and criminal mischief in the first degree as well as a misdemeanor count of criminal mischief.
She has been released on a $15,000 bond.
