MH City Limits Spring Clean Up scheduled for April

The city of Mountain Home is partnering with Methvin Sannitation and Waste Connections is preparing for the annual Mountain Home City Limits Spring Clean Up. This year’s event is scheduled for April 24 through 27.

Items accepted include furniture, mattresses and box springs, freon-free appliances, toys, bicycles without tires, push or self-propelled lawnmowers with no gas or oil, tools, clothing that is bagged, metals shorter than 4 feet and weighing less than 50 pounds, carpet under 4 feet in length that is rolled up and tied, fencing under 4 feet long and lumber less than 4 feet in length. Items not being accepted include electronics, yard waste, tires, paint, vehicle batteries and construction debris.

During the Spring Clean Up, residents inside the Mountain Home city limits will need to have their items out by the curb by 6 a.m. during their regular trash pick-up day. Anyone with questions can contact Methvin Sanitation at 870-741-8095.
