In a letter to staff early Tuesday, Arkansas State University Mountain Home Chancellor Robin Myers announced his plans to retire.

The board of trustees have been notified of his decision and a committee will be appointed to begin the search for a new Chancellor.

Myers has been the Chancellor of ASUMH for the past eleven years and says he looks forward to watching the university continue to grow.

His retirement will become effective July 31.
