A Yellville man pled guilty to drug charges during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Monday.

Forty-nine-year-old Timothy Hogg was sentenced to a three year prison term.

In late June last year, the vehicle Hogg was driving was stopped on the Sheid-Hopper Bypass after an officer checked and found the license plate displayed on Hogg’s car came back registered to another vehicle.

According to the probable cause affidavit, Hogg was on parole at the time of the stop with a waiver on file permitting warrantless searches on the person and property.

Officers reported finding about 14 grams of methamphetamine and 21 Suboxone strips during their search.

Electronic court records show Hogg has had a number of criminal cases opened on him since 2011, mainly in Marion County.

The sentence handed down in Baxter County will also cover the one open case in Marion County.
