Law enforcement in Howell County are asking for the public’s assistance to help identify suspects involved in the illegal dumping of tires.
According to the Howell County Police Department, within the past two weeks several dozens of tires were discarded along the roadside in the Junction Hill area of Howell County.
Authorities state the tires were scattered along Route 17 from the intersection of U.S. Highway 160 East to State Route W. The Missouri Department of Transportation crews were mobilized to recover the tires and the incident is being investigated by Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
