
On Tuesday, Baxter Health announced the installation of a Safe Haven Baby Box at the East Entrance of the hospital.
In partnership with the Knights of Columbus and the 2022 Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership class, the Safe Haven Baby Box provides a safe and secure environment for mothers to legally leave their babies if they are not able to care for them.
Anthony Reed, Vice President of Ancillary Services at Baxter Health states “this is just one more way Baxter Health is living up to our purposed of being a community-focused organization.”
Reed spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News to discuss how the Safe Haven Baby Box will operate at the hospital.
