Baseball and softball make up much of the local Friday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School baseball team will wrap up the week by welcoming Batesville to McClain Park. The varsity game begins at 4:30 at Pitts Field followed by the junior varsity contest.
Gainesville will play for the championship of the Hartville Baseball Tournament. The Bulldogs will take the field at 6.
Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Mammoth Spring, Norfork travels to Shirley, Yellville-Summit entertains Marshall, Viola is home against Greers Ferry West Side, Salem makes the trip to Tuckerman, Dora heads to Mountain View-Liberty, and Harrison travels to Fair Grove, Missouri.
In high school softball, Cotter makes the trip to Mammoth Spring, Norfork heads to Shirley, Salem travels to Tuckerman, and Marshall hosts Green Forest.
