
The Mountain Home High School soccer teams were able to sweep Alma Thursday at Bomber Stadium.
The Bomber boys came from behind to defeat the Airedales 3-1. Ivan Vega led Mountain Home with two goals; Sergi Carmona scored a goal and dished out an assist; Dierks Beauregard, Isaac Wiggins and Kelso Haught each added an assist; and Odei Alcalde recorded five saves. The Bombers improve to 13-1-2 on the season.
Mountain Home also took the victory on the girls’ side. The Lady Bombers got past Alma by a final of 2-1.
Mountain View split its soccer games with Cave City. The Yellowjackets won the boys’ match over the Cavemen 5-1. The Mountain View girls fell to Cave City 4-0.
Bergman’s boys had a rough outing on the soccer field. The Panthers lost to Lincoln 7-2.
Harrison had mixed results at Siloam Springs. The Goblins took the boys’ match over the Panthers 3-1. Harrison’s girls were edged out by Siloam Springs 3-2.
