The Mountain Home High School baseball team had a rough outing in front of the home crowd at McClain Park on Friday. The Bombers fell to Batesville 9-4.
Gainesville was able to capture the championship of the Hartville Baseball Tournament. The Bulldogs shut out Conway by a final of 12-0.
In other baseball, Yellville-Summit shut out Marshall 10-0, Viola defeated Greers Ferry West Side 18-11, and Salem routed Tuckerman 19-3.
In high school softball, Cotter topped Mammoth Spring 9-5, and Salem lost to Tuckerman 9-1.
