The Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County will host the 9th Annual Baxter County Plant Swap April 22 from 9:30 until Noon.
The Plant Swap is an opportunity to meet, talk shop and trade plants and seeds with local gardeners. Participants are encouraged to bring any plants they want to swap, but not required. In addition, gardeners are invited to bring usable gardening tools, magazines and catalog to share with others. Seed donations can also be dropped off to help start the seed library.
Earth Day activities for all ages will available from 10 until Noon where participants can mix seeds with damp soil and nutrients to make seed bombs and play pollinator pizza to learn why pollinators are important to the food supply.
