Marion Co. Quorum Court hears ordinance to lift hiring freeze Tuesday night

The Marion County Quorum Court will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday night at 6.

With a full agenda, the court will hear ordinances for Clerk’s Office wage increases; vacant position in the Collector’s Office along with a wage increase; election reimbursement; vests and ballistic vests for the Sheriff’s Office; appropriations for the fire department and E-911; position title for the transfer station; sales tax for solid waste equipment; grader purchase for the road department; lifting the hiring freeze; wage increase for the Treasurer’s Office; and American Rescue Fund appropriations.
