
A two-vehicle accident Sunday evening in Taney County resulted in moderate injuries to a Harrison woman. Eighty-two-year-old Barbara Hentschel-Holmes was transported to Cox Medical Center in Branson.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Barbara Hentschel-Holmes was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 83-year-old John Holmes of Harrison on Missouri Highway 265. They were stopped to make a left turn nearly a half mile south of Branson when they were reportedly struck from behind by another vehicle driven by 46-year-old Joseph Moore of Reeds Spring, Missouri. The Holmes’ vehicle traveled off the side of the road and hit a mailbox.
John Holmes and Joseph Moore both avoided injuries in the 6:10 p.m. accident. Their vehicles sustained moderate damage.
