KTLO to air Annual Memorial Day Commemoration event Monday morning

The North Central Arkansas Veterans Council will be sponsoring the Annual Memorial Day Commemoration Monday morning at Veterans Plaza 2000 in Mountain Home.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 11 and will be hosted by the Fleet Reserve Association, Branch 251. President of Branch 251 David E. Butts, will be serving as Master-of-Ceremonies. KTLO 97.9 will be broadcasting the event live.

Geraldine Swientek Butts, member of FRA Branch 251 and a Retired Navy Veteran with 22 years of military service will be this year’s keynote speaker. Chaplain will be Mr. Robert Wochner, Deacon at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Music will be provided by KTLO and colors will be provided by the participating Veterans Organizations along with Honors by the Honor Guard of Alley White American Legion Post 52.

Immediately after the two ceremonies cupcakes and coffee will be served at VFW Post 3246.

In the event of inclement weather, there is no alternate date or location.
