The NCAA Baseball Tournament gets underway on Friday, and Arkansas will be starting in front of the home crowd. The Razorbacks will be one of four teams competing in the Fayetteville Regional, and their first opponent for the weekend is Santa Clara.

Arkansas enters the tournament as the No. 3 national seed. The Razorbacks have a record of 41-16 and finished as the SEC regular season co-champions.

Santa Clara is the fourth-seeded team in the regional with a mark of 35-18. The Broncos received an automatic bid after winning the West Coast Conference Tournament.

The other matchup in the Fayetteville Regional will be between TCU and Arizona. The Horned Frogs are the No. 2 seed in the regional, and the Wildcats are third.

The four teams will play a double elimination format. The team that wins the Fayetteville Regional will go on to face the winner of the Terra Haute Regional hosted by Indiana State. The next round, known as the super regional, will pair the two regional winners in a best-of-three series to determine who advances to the College World Series.

Friday’s game between Arkansas and Santa Clara will start at 2, and it can be seen online on subscription-based ESPN+. TCU and Arizona will start at 8 and will be televised by ESPNU.
