After having two days off, the St. Louis Cardinals are set to begin another trip on Friday. The Redbirds will be in Pittsburgh for a three-game series with the Pirates.

St. Louis is currently in fourth place in the National League Central Division, trailing Milwaukee by five games. The Cardinals most recently split a two-game series at home with Kansas City.

Pittsburgh is second in the division as they are behind the Brewers by just one game. The Pirates were able to take two out of three games this week at San Francisco.

Jack Flaherty will get the start on the mound for St. Louis, and Pittsburgh will go with Roansy Contreras. The first pitch at PNC Park is scheduled for 6:05. Friday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The broadcast begins at 5:10 with Ameren Total Access.
