The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team was able to take its opener in the American Pride and Freedom Tournament Friday at Murray State University in Kentucky. The Lockeroom breezed past Gallatin, Tennessee, 9-2.
Cash Arnhart led Mountain Home’s offense with a home run, a double and four RBIs; and Andrew Hamilton provided two hits and drove in three runs. Trevor Kinder picked up the win on the mound.
The Lockeroom will wrap up pool play in the tournament with two games Saturday. Mountain Home meets Madisonville, Kentucky, at 1:30 and Harriburg, Illinois, at 6:30.
