The Little Rock Zoo in conjunction with the University of Central Arkansas (UCA) recently reintroduced endangered eastern collared lizards to parts of the Twin Lakes area.
Matt Gifford, Associate Professor of Biology at UCA, spoke with KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News on how local habitats have become endangered for this species.

Gifford states this is the first time UCA has coordinated with a zoo to assist in providing yearlings for the restored habitat.
