The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team suffered another defeat Friday in pool play of the Mickey Huskey Twin Lakes Classic at Cooper Park. The Lockeroom fell to Russellville 8-0.
The Mountain Home MacLeod team picked up its first win of the tournament. MacLeod was able to beat Scott City, Missouri, by a final of 5-3.
Mountain Home’s other junior squad had a rough outing in Friday’s opening game. Alley-White lost to Baldwyn, Mississippi, 12-1.
In Friday’s other action, Paragould breezed past Fort Smith 12-4, and Bartlesville, Oklahoma, beat Pontotoc, Mississippi, 16-6.
