A Mountain Home father and son duo had a good outing at an Arkansas State Golf Association event in the northwest part of the state. Big Creek Golf and Country Club members Nick and Jack Coleman won their flight in the Chester Lowe Father and Son Tournament with a two-day total of 145.

According to Nick Coleman, the first day was at Fayetteville Country Club, and the tournament wrapped up at Shadow Valley Country Club in Rogers. He and Jack were able to hold off PGA tour player Patrick Lee and his son to win.

The tournament is pre-flighted based on handicap and is played in the 6/6/6 format (six holes scramble, six holes best ball, six holes alternate shot).
