An area juvenile suffered moderate injuries following a one-vehicle accident Monday morning in Ozark County. The unidentified 17-year-old male from West Plains reportedly sought his own treatment.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the teen was traveling on Missouri Highway 101. He was nearly four miles south of Caulfield when his pickup truck traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck several trees. The juvenile was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
The truck was totaled in the 5:40 a.m. accident.
