Storms caused damage to a Baxter Health office on Wednesday. The administration building located on Buttercup Drive had its roof torn off, causing its floors to be flooded. No injuries have been reported.
The Mountain Home Police Department says it has received reports of trees and power lines down, but there were no additional reports of structural damage or injuries. Similar reports have been received by the sheriff’s offices in Baxter and Marion counties.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office also report some power poles were down. No reports of damage or injuries have been received by the Izard County Sheriff’s Office.
A portion of area residents served by Entergy Arkansas are still without power. As of 5:30 Thursday morning, outages were being reported to 121 customers in Baxter County and 27 in Marion County.
