The Marion County Quorum Court will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday night at 6.
Items on the agenda include and ordinance to appropriate additional funds for jurors and witnesses; an ordinance to appropriate funds for advertising; an ordinance to establish a minimum amount to purchase equipment; an ordinance to amend the operating budget to transfer unappropriated funds to offset money paid in 2023 for expenses incurred in 2022 with the no clean-up ordinance; and ordinance to purchase body bags for the coroner’s office; an ordinance to transfer funds for the cost of a cooler installation for the County Coroner; an ordinance to appropriate funds for expenses to run the County Judge and Comptroller’s offices; ordinances to appropriate funds for advertising, county road fund and solid waste and recycling; an ordinance to amend the operating budget to appropriate funds to purchase jail management and reporting software; an ordinance to purchase four vehicles for law enforcement; an ordinance to lease four vehicles for law enforcement administrative and investigative use; and an ordinance to adopt rules and regulation concerning external noise from data centers and noise disturbances.
