Mammoth Spring wins AAA Sportsmanship Award

The Arkansas Activities Association recently announced the winners of the 2022-2023 Sportsmanship Awards, and one area high school is among the recipients. Mammoth Spring took home the award for Class 1A.

Mammoth Spring was voted as the award winner by its peers. To qualify, a school must not have experienced an ejection of a coach, player or spectator from an interscholastic contest by an official registered in the Arkansas Officials Association for unsportsmanlike conduct during the school year.

The other Sportsmanship Awards went to Lavaca in Class 2A, Central Arkansas Christian in Class 3A, Pottsville in Class 4A, Valley View in Class 5A and Fort Smith Northside in Class 6A.
