A $100,000 ticket sold at an area grocery store is waiting to be claimed following Wednesday’s Powerball drawing. The ticket was purchased at Town and Country on Church Street (U.S. Highway 62B) in Salem.
According to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery, the winning numbers were white balls 7, 10, 11, 13, 24 and red Powerball 24. The ticket sold at Town and Country was one of three in Arkansas to match four white balls and the Powerball, which normally has a $50,000 prize. However, all three tickets are doubled due to the Power Play option being purchased for an extra dollar.
The two other tickets in Arkansas were purchased in Little Rock, and both prizes have been claimed. A Powerball ticket sold in California matched all six numbers drawn Wednesday night to win a jackpot worth $1.08 billion.
