
Boil water orders have been issued for two more area water systems.
According to the Arkansas Department of Health, one order went into effect Friday afternoon for the entire Dillards Ferry Water System in Marion County. The boil order was issued due to a power outage.
Another boil order was put into effect Saturday morning for a portion of Mountain View Waterworks in Stone County for repairs to a broken fire hydrant. The order affects customers on Maple Heights Drive, the west side of Maple Drive, West Main Street to Industrial Park Road, Blue Collar Lane and Snoda Lane.
Two other area boil orders remain in effect. One is for the SPG Water Association for connections on Baker Ford Road, Able Road and Abstract Road in Marion and Searcy counties, and the other is for all customers in the Richwoods Water Association in Stone County. Both orders are due to main breaks.
All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
