
Power restoration efforts are continuing in Ozark County following the midweek storms that caused considerable damage in the southwest part of the county, in particular around the Theodosia area. As of noon Saturday, there are still 65 White River Valley Electric Cooperative customers without power. At the height of the outage Wednesday night, over 3,000 customers in Ozark County were in the dark.
Cassie Cunningham is the Vice President and Chief Growth Officer with White River Valley Electric Cooperative. She says getting to the damaged power poles and downed lines has been a challenge.
