Cardinals host A’s for final home interleague series

The St. Louis Cardinals begin a six-game home stand with their final interleague series at Busch Stadium this season. The Redbirds will welcome the Athletics in from Oakland.

St. Louis remains in last place in the National League Central Division after splitting a two-game series with the Royals in Kansas City. The Cardinals trail Milwaukee by 12 1/2 games with a record of 52-66.

Oakland has the worst record in all of baseball at 33-85. The A’s are 37 games behind Texas after getting swept in three games at Washington.

Miles Mikolas will start for St. Louis, and Oakland will go with J.P. Sears. The first pitch at Busch Stadium is scheduled for 6:45. Monday’s game can be heard on KTLO-AM. The broadcast begins at 5:50 with Ameren Total Access.
