
The Mountain Home Christian Academy varsity volleyball team fell just short in its season opener at home against Valley Springs. The match needed all five sets with the Lady Tigers beating the Lady Eagles 20-25, 25-13, 23-25, 25-16 and 18-16.
Caroline Robinson led Mountain Home Christian with six kills, Kenna Riley had three kills and eight blocks, Cheyenne Dewey recorded four blocks, and Joanna Oliger ended up with five aces.
Mountain Home Christian did not fare any better in the junior varsity match. The J.V. Lady Eagles fell in straight sets as Valley Springs posted scores of 25-16 and 25-15.
Mountain Home Christian was able to win the junior high junior varsity match.
