Friday afternoon, a police chase on Arkansas Highway 178 ended in front of the Flippin Schools campus. The suspect was apprehended and all students are safe.
According to a Facebook post from Kelvin Hudson, Superintendent of the Flippin School District, at approximately 12:20 the chase concluded in front of the school campus. Authorities with the Flippin School District Resource Officers, Flippin Police Department, Marion County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas State Police as well as the Flippin Fire Department and Emergency Personnel responded to scene.
Hwy. 178 was shut down for short period of time to remove vehicles.
