A Mountain Home woman is dead, and a man was injured from a motorcycle crash Saturday evening in Lone Rock. Fifty-three-year-old Stephanie Bay was pronounced dead at Cox Medical Center South in Springfield, and 55-year-old Joe Deen was transported to Baxter Health.
According to the Arkansas State Police, Deen was the driver of the motorcycle on Arkansas Highway 341, and Bay was his passenger. Deen reportedly lost control after the motorcycle struck a large rock in the roadway, and it ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a road sign.
The road was dry, and the weather was clear at the time of the 6 p.m. accident.
