Monday morning, Jim Brown withdrew his candidacy for the State Representative District 4 seat, replacing Rep. Jack Fortner, who announced in July he would not seek reelection.
Brown states, “After much thought and prayer, I have decided against seeking the State Representative District 4 seat. As our family business continues to grow, my obligations grow with it. I love my community and remain appreciative for all the encouragement to run for office. While now is not the right time for that, I will continue to look for ways I can serve our area.”
