A cooling center will be open at the Marion County Fairgrounds Community Building Thursday afternoon from Noon until 7.
The cooling center is operated by volunteers. If interested in becoming a volunteer, contact Jim Kuchenbecker at the Office of Emergency Management at 870-736-6334.
The public will be notified of additional hours as they become available.
