The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office has reported no major incidents over the Labor Day weekend.
Sheriff John Montgomery joined KTLO’s Kim Szecsi Tuesday morning to discuss the holiday activity.

Montgomery: Typically, if I can go a holiday weekend and don’t get any phone calls, that’s a good thing. That’s what I was wondering. And so, yes, good. Overall, it was fairly quiet. And we had a little storm, you know, come up yesterday and had a little damage in town.
Szecsi: And, uh, what about, uh, uh, boating accidents, DUIs, that kind of thing? Are we on an upswing or downswing?
Montgomery: No, it’s about normal. I think we had two or three, uh, that happened over the weekend and, uh, no, no boating accidents. So overall, I think, uh, again, we would have to call this a good, a good holiday.
