MH freshman football team tops Texarkana at Beebe

The Mountain Home freshman football team picked up another win Thursday as they played a neutral site game in Beebe. The Junior Bombers shut out Texarkana 21-0.

Gaige Wilson was 13 of 21 through the air for 289 yards. Wilson’s touchdown was caught by Gus Wilber, who had five catches for 109 yards. Isaac Ballard had two receptions for 50 yards. Elijah Hillstrom led Mountain Home’s ground attack with four carries for 21 yards and two touchdowns.

Trae Holliday led Mountain Home’s defense with five tackles; Owen Campos recorded four tackles including a sack for a four-yard loss; Hillstrom, Ford Coleman and Kanye Worman also had four tackles each; Braxton Blagg, Garrett Watts and Ashtin Bradshaw each added three tackles; and Ballard came away with an interception.
